Jacob lost his first tooth on Mother's Day 2011!

It was so shocking because no one really knew his tooth was even loose. Then, all of the sudden, he was standing there, holding a tooth: "Hey, my tooth came out!" And, there you have it. The Tooth Fairy Committee had to quickly decide how much a tooth was worth in the Rickey Family, since that had never been discussed before. The Committee settled on $1.00

Happy April!

This is the April blog posting! I've decided that once a month is the frequency lately... we are WAY too busy. April brought us Jacob's 6th birthday and Easter. We actually had an "April Shower" rainstorm too, which is pretty rare for the desert.

Here is Jacob and his best friend, Megan. She is quite a cutie, but also athletic and spunky which bodes well with Jacob. They are truly best buds.

Cousin Maddy joined in with the family and friends - she turned 1 in April!!

The kids had a blast at the party. We had "open gym" with basketball, frisbee, football and a giant soccer ball. And when we say giant, we mean giant:
