One Week 'Till Two

One week to go until we have TWO kids with us!! Next post you see will hopefully have some baby pictures of our second little angel - Joshua. We're not sure what Jacob will think of this whole thing, even though he says he's really excited :) Thank goodness for family and friends around who will be able to help us out with our many changes over the next few weeks. A new baby AND a new house by the first week in July!

So what does a REALLY pregnant mom look like a week before her due date, you might ask? We'll, a little something like this:
Perhaps Joshua will be a basketball player because he pretty much looks like a basketball on Mommy at this point! Keep sending your prayers to the Rickey family. And don't forget to keep in touch! Let the countdown begin...

Baby Shower Time!

We're so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends! We had a baby shower for little Joshua a few weeks ago. The whole family got in on the action - we had a great time. We received many of the needed things to complete the baby's room for Mr. Josh. We loved catching up with our friends and celebrating this exciting time in our lives.

One of the more interesting things will be trying out the double stroller that we received! Can't believe we'll be hauling around two kids in diapers. Wow. Life sure is exciting though!! The countdown begins as we only have a few weekends left to finish preparing. Time to start washing those onesies and bottles!
